Terms and Conditions

Read the following terms and conditions carefully. By registering as a subscriber at Cheapnews, you agree with the following agreement.
Inextricably linked to these general terms and conditions is the Acceptable Use Policy of Cheapnews.

Cheapnews is a trading name of Bulknews BV. Cheapnews is registered at the Chamber of Commerce under number 61429805.

Article 1 – Definitions

1.1 “Acceptance Date”: The date on which the subscriber registers online via the website of Cheapnews and accepts this agreement.

1.2 “Service”: The possibility to gain access to usenet via the network of Cheapnews or to make use of the technical facilities offered by Cheapnews for the provision of information.

1.3 “Subscriber”: The natural person with whom Cheapnews has subscribed.

1.4 “Parties”: Cheapnews and subscriber jointly.

Article 2 – General

2.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all relations, including future ones, between Cheapnews and subscriber, unless parties have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

2.2 These general terms and conditions replace any previous general terms and conditions drawn up by Cheapnews.

2.3 Any offer made by Cheapnews is entirely without obligation and can be revoked within 7 days after receipt of the acceptance.

2.4 Cheapnews reserves the right to change these terms and conditions unilaterally at any time.
Changes take effect on a date specified in the announcement or, if unspecified, 30 days after publication.
If the subscriber does not agree with this change, they must make this known in writing within 30 days.

2.5 By registering and accepting the general conditions online, the subscriber declares to be at least 18 years of age or older.

Article 3 – Subscriptions

3.1 A subscription is requested by filling in the registration page on the website of Cheapnews.eu

3.2 Upon receipt of the subscription request, Cheapnews will arrange for the admission of the subscriber to the service.

3.3 The agreement between Cheapnews and the subscriber is entered into for a period of the selected term, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
If the subscriber does not cancel the subscription within 40 days before the end of the period, the agreement is automatically extended by the same term.

3.4 If the subscriber wants a different type of subscription, they can submit a request in writing.
Cheapnews reserves the right to charge additional costs for changes.

3.5 Cheapnews reserves the right at all times to refuse, suspend, or terminate subscriptions without giving reasons.

Article 4 – Rates

4.1 Unless otherwise agreed, the rates published on Cheapnews’ website apply. These are subject to change at Cheapnews’ discretion.

4.2 Subscribers will be informed in writing, if possible, of any price changes at least 10 days before they take effect.

Article 5 – Payment

5.1 Payment is required upfront for the entire subscription term. If payment fails, Cheapnews may apply administration fees of €10 (excl. VAT) and involve a collection agency.

5.2 Cheapnews only accepts payments through methods specified on their website, including direct debit.

5.3 Subscribers are liable for any collection costs if overdue payments remain unresolved.

Article 6 – Obligations

6.1 The subscriber guarantees that all information provided to Cheapnews is accurate and up to date.

6.2 Subscribers are prohibited from using the service for unlawful purposes or actions that violate Netiquette or harm Cheapnews’ interests.

Article 7 – Retention & Completeness

7.1 Cheapnews does not guarantee retention or completeness percentages; these are approximate figures based on current data.

Article 8 – Copyright

8.1 Subscribers must ensure that their use of the service complies with copyright laws.

8.2 Unauthorized sharing of copyrighted material may lead to account suspension or termination.

Article 9 – Spam & Flooding

9.1 Cheapnews has a zero-tolerance policy towards spam and reserves the right to terminate accounts involved in spamming.

9.2 Excessive or disruptive posting (“flooding”) is prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.

Article 10 – Controversial & Explicit Material

10.1 Cheapnews is not responsible for content accessed through its service, including controversial or explicit material.

Article 11 – Privacy & Data

11.1 Cheapnews takes reasonable measures to secure its services but is not liable for breaches caused by third parties.

11.2 Subscriber data is used solely for administrative and marketing purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent.

Article 12 – Emergencies

12.1 Cheapnews may make changes to its service during emergencies to maintain continuity. Subscribers will be informed as soon as possible.

Article 13 – Liability

13.1 Cheapnews is not liable for direct or indirect damages unless caused by gross negligence or intent. Liability is limited to €4,500.
